Andy Willsheer

Willsheer achieved worldwide acclaim while photographing an NHRA Funny Car drag race featuring Steve Gasparelli at Pomona raceway on 14 December 2009. Gasparelli's racecar slipped on an oil patch and veered towards a concrete barrier next to the track. Willsheer was standing on the other side of the barrier and the car came within two feet of him.
